Lympstone Entertainments

Various productions throughout the year.

Introduction

Since 2007, Lympstone Entertainments has been bringing professional performances to the village: theatre, dance, puppets, poetry and music of all kinds – classical, jazz, folk, choral, cabaret. We have presented well over 100 professional events.

Our one amateur event is the Annual Village Concert, featuring the talented performers of Lympstone itself. Their drawing power and their generosity raise the money that enables us to book professional performers of the highest quality throughout the year.

We mainly use the Village Hall, with the Parish Church for classical music and, for the occasional outdoor event, a beautiful woodland garden or (on a couple of occasions) the boat shelter slipway. Our 4 A3 poster boards around the village also host a changing public anthology of poetry.

We are non-profit, run entirely by volunteers, who set-up performances, host artists and operate the lighting, sound, projection and the bar!
